I apologize for not making a giant Thanksgiving post but we ended up staying home at the last minute and I wanted to cook, so I spent all day making dinner and didn't take a single picture. Not one. I admit that it felt kind of good, but I am sorry that I couldn't share any of the recipes, step-by-step.

Every recipe I used was from Alton Brown.

The turkey was amazing and as with most of Alton's recipes, was kind of a pain to brine and cook, but the payoff was outstanding. Easily the best turkey I've ever had. Anywhere at any time.

Make this next year. Trust me.

The mac and cheese was good, but I just thought it was better on its own versus with everything else on the plate. The green bean casserole was awesome (but I did leave out the mushrooms). The mashed potatoes were pretty standard, but went really well with everything and the rolls were as good as you can get in any restaurant.

Overall, it was an awesome (albeit kind of rushed) Thanksgiving.

I promise to take pictures next year.

These are the recipes I used:
(I made gravy from a stock made from the neck of the turkey, too)

Good Eats Roast Turkey
Green Bean Casserole
Baked Mac n Cheese
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Parker House Rolls

On a side note, this is my 100th post! Woohoo!
